We are looking for a production/assembly electronics worker for a lighting company in Irving, TX. What you are going to be doing Job Description: • Perform repetitive mechanical assembly work through a variety of manual and machine assisted operations requiring good manual dexterity • Cross train into other functional roles as required • Prepare, cut materials, along with packaging product • Assemble products on multi-level BOMs • Read assembly specifications and instructions • Use standardized tools, hand and electric and equipment to perform job • Perform sub-assembly, assembly, build, test, QA to meet production requirements • Meet or exceed quality and production quantity standards as directed • Maintain housekeeping of personal workspace and surrounding area • Working all season in non-climate-controlled warehouse • Delivery and pick up of products • Occasionally working overtime when needed Required • Attention to detail and quality • Must be able to work on your feet for 8 hours at a time • Soldering, minimum 1 year experience • 1 to 3 years experience with small electronic assembly, stereo installation • Experience with various instruments and tools, including wire strippers, crimping, heat shrink, drills, and hand tools • Interpret assembly drawings, diagrams, schematics, and work instructions • Must be able to produce valid US ID • Clean driving record • Ability to stand, twist, squat, lift to 20lbs consistently during shift • A stable and steady work history • High school degree or equivalent • No felonies Optional • Field installation • Not afraid of heights • Forklift experience Benefits, waiting period may apply • Weekly Pay • Health Ins (50% company paid EO) • Vacation, 2 paid holidays • Overtime available • Bonuses This is 1st shift position M-F 7am-3:30pm and it pays $18-$20/hr depending on experience.
