My little brother is severely disabled, and lives in an assisted care facility (basically a hospital). I live out of state, and am unable to visit him for his birthday, due to COVID restrictions. 😔 On top of that, there was a mix-up with his birthday present and it won't arrive for a few weeks.
I just need someone willing to pick up a nice cake from Safeway (or any other local bakery!) today, and deliver it to the nurse's station at Aiden Living (attached to Lower Umpqua Hospital). A few balloons would also be great - honestly just anything to make him smile, because he's lonely and sad and misses his family. I can PayPal or Venmo you for the cost of items, plus $50 for delivery.
