Well gang, I must say, when I move to Sunny Southern California I sure am going to miss the change of seasons. By the way, what do you call this season? The "Oh great, I live inside a cow's mouth" season? Good thing it's raining again today. The crops need the rain. But, the one thing I will miss is the awesome people and the incredible fun nights at The Musician's Open Jam Night at The Getaway Pub. Best damn jam night in town. A quick plug for my old friends from Hudson Run who are hosting an open jam the last Wednesday of this month (TONIGHT 7 to 10PM) at Block 7 in Barberton. Awesome bunch of guys... Hudson Run. Hope you guys will come and see me before I go. With that said, this is week 9 of my last 10 jam nights before I move. The bags are packed. I'm ready to go. The taxi is waiting outside the door. 9 more jam nights and Old Jam Night Charlie is going to be gone forever. So, everybody.....Come on down and jam with us and enjoy the friendly and fun atmosphere that has made The Musician's Open Jam Night at The Getaway Pub a winner for over 12 years. You wanna rock, you wanna rap, you wanna do a Readings By Robert with your accompanist, Carlos... that's cool too. Anything you want to do on stage is better done at The Musician's Open Jam Night at The Getaway Pub. We are a true open jam and we don't use a sign up sheet like most venues. Bring your gear and talk to me. I'll put you in for as little or as long as you like. Stewie usually plays all night. Jersey Paul generally likes to stop after 4 or 5 songs. Whatever you like and makes you feel comfortable. We'll make it happen. If you have a band and you want some stage time alone to do your thing, no problem. Bring the entire gang and we'll listen up while you play a short set. It all happens when you make the right rules..... Everybody plays and everybody has fun. That's the rules at The Musician's Open Jam Night at The Getaway Pub. Definitely going to be a fun party.... again. Party starts about 8PM. Be there or be square.
