I have tried so hard to put together something but 99% of the people that contact me either flake out at the last minute, don't have their own transportation, don't have their own gear, or want to use jam or rehearsal time as a time to get wasted! I mean think about it. Why would you answer an ad that is 50 miles away from if you don't have transportation? An ad that states you MUST have transportation. Why would you answer an ad that states clearly there will be gigs BUT you don't have your own equipment? Why would you answer an ad that states clearly that it's not a 420 or drinking situation and then proceed to get wasted and/or hammered before and during an audition? Is it craigslist heroes that get a few drinks in them and decide to reply to the ad only to realize they either don't have the skill to actually be in a band or that THEY DON'T HAVE TRANSPO OR EVEN GEAR? Is it just the way it has become around here? Used to be able to hook up with people that were capable of actually being in a band. Not any more I guess. Frustrating!
