Quick Change Technician – Roush Honda Job Summary A Quick-Change Technician's focus is producing high-quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines, and procedures. Precise, consistent productivity is essential. It requires patience and a willingness to handle and complete multiple tasks accurately. We provide job knowledge through structured step-by-step training and positive, supportive coaching from management and peers. No previous automotive skills are required; we will train on the job. QualificationsStrong organizational and time management skillsSelf-motivated personalityExhibit a "can-do" attitude Primary ResponsibilitiesChange engine oil and filters on all models of Honda and Acura VehiclesTest and verify systems and components are secure and working properlyMaintain efficiency and accuracy diagnosing as well as repairing vehiclesRepair or replace work parts as necessaryUse power tools, machine tools, and everyday hand tools to perform various tasks.Repair leaking tiresWash and vacuum vehiclesClean and maintain shop areaTest drive the vehicle to make sure everything is satisfactory & safeRequirements Ability to learn from on the job trainingBasic computer skillsPractical analytical and communications skillsDesire to learn new technology and repair and service procedure and specificationsPhysically able to perform assigned tasks, including lifting 85 pounds (or more)and working on your feet for extended periodsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to accept night and Saturday hoursMust have a valid drivers' license with less than 4 points and no history of reckless driving (preferably 18 years of age)Consent to a background check and drug screening Environmental Conditions Expect consistent exposure to moving parts, chemicals, dust, dirt, and inclement weather conditions.
