Public Works Laborer $15.00 Hour, Temp to Hire! Monday to Friday 6.30am to 3pm, must be flexible for weekends Long term, possible temp to hire opportunity! Job Duties: General Labor duties to assist with maintaining streets and public areas in a clean and tidy state. Responding each day to reports of illegal dumping on city street or public areas. Loading junk (such as discarded furniture, etc) onto a truck for disposal. Work may involve landscaping, minor repairs to irrigation systems or operating a weed whacker. Performing paint touch up, and assisting with repairs to facilities, sidewalks and asphalt. Working outdoors (alternate duties would be found during inclement weather). Skills required: Labor, construction or grounds keeping/landscaping experience required. Must be able to pass a Drug Screen and Background Check, clean DMV record.
