V& T Rock, Inc. is looking for full-time, experienced operator for their Mound House aggregate mining facility, located at 95 Industrial Parkway.
Candidates should be proficient in aggregate pit operations including efficient operations of, maintenance of and repair of some or all of the following equipment:
Excavators, loaders, dozers, backhoe, skid-steer and haul packs as well as crushing equipment. (This is not an all inclusive list but a baseline for evaluation of applications.)
Additional requirements include:
Applicants please note this job includes manual labor including shoveling, greasing and repairs as dictated by pit operations.
Valid, clear driver's license (NV preferred)
Have MSHA certification, safety awareness and strict compliance to regulation
Pass drug screen, physical exam and background check
Have good communication skills
Ability to follow directions and willingness to be trained as required
Have good mechanical abilities
Regular lifting of 75lbs. required.
Candidates should also be aware that this job exposes individuals daily to moderate to loud noise levels, fine dust, vibration and moving mechanical parts.
