Very loving/affectionate 3 yr old Old English Sheepdog/Sheepadoodle needs a new family who has plenty of time to spend with her. She's a large dog weighing a little over 100 lbs. She's spayed and all of her shots are up to date--including lyme disease. She's healthy, has plenty of energy, and is very playful. She only barks when a stranger approaches the house; other than that, she never barks. She likes to stay home and close to her family, so you won't need to worry about her running off. She hates loud noises. Our family enjoys target practicing--which terrifies her. If she gets scared, she hides, won't move from her hiding spot, and pees herself. She also requires lots of grooming--ordinary pet shears don't work on her thick coat. She's a little shy, but this only causes her to back away or hide until she gets to know someone better. She's good with other pets. She presently lives with a cat, three chickens, a puppy, and a large German Shepherd. She's good with children too, but she could easily accidently knock a child/elderly person over just by brushing by them. If you could stand her weight, she will lie on your lap for as long as you will let her. Presently, she is an outside dog who likes to run, swim, and ride in the back of our truck. But, she would also make a good house dog. (She is house trained but does have accidents when she gets scared.) She's decent on a leash, but she is strong and needs a strong leader. We are not asking for a rehoming fee, just for a loving home in need of a good friend. If you're interested, we will bring her to your home and see how she likes it.
