Handsome and sweet approximately 6 month old herding dog mix available for adoption through Kauai Humane Society. Hero is a smart, fully house trained, energetic and playful puppy. He loves to hike, play at the beach, go on any adventures, give kisses, get belly rubs, eat treats, and be close to his people. Although Hero is not recommended with small kids or cats he would be a great adventure buddy for an active adult or couple. Hero would love to have a doggy sibling to keep him company when you are away. Hero is cautious in new situations but quickly overcomes his hesitation with gentle encouragement from you. He is good at walking politely on leash and he is just starting to figure out how to play fetch. He would likely make a great agility dog or jogging partner.
