Featuring Mozart’s little know French songs and other pieces considered the beginning of romanticism, your best hits of Italian grand opera, and a few French delights to round out the afternoon. Loren Masánqué, a countertenor, who begins a Master in Sacred Music in Voice program at the University of Notre Dame this fall, will be joined by Kari Burgess, an expressive lyric soprano. She has sung in Oregon and European operas and oratorio performances including Handel’s Messiah and Haydn’s The Creation. The concert will benefit the St. James Music Program and provide support for Loren's studies. Can't attend?
