EXPERIENCED APPLICANTS IN MAINTENANCE STAFF ONLY APPLY PLEASE PORTER Candidate should be able to work outdoors in all seasons & familiar with outdoor cleaning & upkeep We are looking for a Porter to take care of our building and carry out cleaning, maintenance. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition. The proper candidate will be able to work as a team with other maintenance staff & alone & have the ability to work on a schedule to accomplish the goals of each work day & week. This position covers a complex of commercial buildings where the work includes, parking lots, loading docks, garden upkeep, sidewalks, windows etc. The ideal candidate will have experience in both indoor & outdoor facility upkeep. Responsibilities Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects. Outdoors sweeping/blowing sidewalks, power washing/hosing sidewalks & loading docks, sweeping/blowing parking lots, graffiti removal, windows, garden/plant upkeep, mowing/weed removal, tree trimming, snow shoveling/plowing, dumpster & trash removal etc Painting for exterior or interior when needed Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Keep organized all supplies & tools & in good working condition Cooperate with the rest of the staff Follow all health and safety regulations Skills Proven working experience as a porter 3 yrs in commercial/warehouse or outdoor environment Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery(blowers, weed trimmers, power washers, hedge trimmers, chain saw, drills, hand saws, snow blowers etc) Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets Integrity and ability to work independently High school degree, proficient in English JANITOR/CLEANER Housekeeping Cleaner We are looking for a Cleaner to take care of our facilities and carry out cleaning duties. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition. Responsibilities Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc) Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects. halls, restrooms, lounges, breakrooms, kitchens, stairs, windows, trash removal, utility area, floors etc. Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Stock and maintain supply rooms Cooperate with the rest of the staff Follow all health and safety regulations, follow CDC recommendations for cleaning & sanitizing during COVID Skills Proven working experience as a cleaner, 3+ years preferred in a commercial or office environment Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets Integrity High school degree Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: All staff follow CDC guidelines, building sanitized & cleaned regularly Salaries for each position Commensurate with experience Positions begin at $16 & up Applicants must speak English & be legal to work in the United States Shifts are 9 hours with 1 hr break for lunch 3 sick days & 3 personal days paid each year 2 weeks (10 days) paid vacation Please submit a resume, 3 references from past employers & any other pertinent info such as certifications etc
