West Indies United (WIU) Scholarship Luncheon, tickets on sale to the public WIU is celebrating 40 years of service in the Hampton Roads community! As a Caribbean non-profit organization, the founding members of this great organization felt it necessary to share our rich Caribbean heritage with the Hampton Roads community. One way we do this is by encouraging the high school students to learn about our Caribbean culture by writing a 500-word essay. The prospective high school graduates would create the essay about a Caribbean island, Caribbean food, Caribbean culture or Caribbean personalities. Your support would be greatly appreciated, it helps the organization achieve its goals and it is tax deductible.
