Loving, Energetic Pup

Description

We have a one year old border collie mix pup named Kooper. We rescued him from a bad home so he’s very timid when you first meet him. But once he’s warmed up he’s the most loving and goofy dog you’ll ever meet. He’s our best friend, but we live in a very small one bedroom apartment and both work physically draining, full time jobs and aren’t home with him as much as we’d like and when we are, we’re just exhausted, and him being an energetic, emotional dog, he needs the time, attention, and a big yard to be able to run around in, or someone with the energy to walk him and take him to the park every day. He knows how to sit, shake, stay, and lay down. If you’re having a bad day, he’ll take the time to comfort you. He’s fully potty trained, he plays with our friends dogs just fine, and we’ve never had a problem with children. He’s just shy at first. He loves car rides more than anything in the world, and is the best little passenger. I’m having a hard time posting this because I would love nothing more than to keep our boy, and he is so loved by us, but I feel he deserves a home that can give him so much more that he needs and deserves, and has been showing signs of doggy depression. There will be a rehoming fee, only because I want to make sure whoever gets him is serious about him. He comes with a bed, and we never got him a kennel because the people we rescued him from never let him out and I felt cruel getting him one. He loves to cuddle at night, but also does well out of the bedroom. He really is a great dog, but we just aren’t provide what he needs.
