Melodic Guitarist Looking for Original Working Pop / Rock / Prog Band

I've played a lot of styles over the years, hard rock, pop, progressive, glam, and covers and originals. Lately I've been playing original progressive rock, and I don't need a band that's necessarily all that complex, but certainly something interesting would be nice. I'm looking for a working situation or something really close. I play rhythm and lead, and like creating and playing leads you can sing along with. Gilmour, Tabor and Steven Wilson get you in the ballpark. I'm less concerned about making tons of cash than being on stage. I LOVE performing, while endless rehearsals leave me fairly limp. I know they are necessary to a point, and I'm all for making the show as good as it can be, but if you rehearse twice a week and gig once every few months, I'm probably not your guy. If you have a few dozen originals, gigs booked, and wonder how someone can learn it all in time, I might well be your guy. I'm 51 and a quick learner, with a real job and equipment. I can also provide back up or even lead vocals if you want. I'm moving to Portsmouth somewhere around Labor Day, and can get up there for a rehearsal or three before then if it would help.
