For church identified leaders who feel called to minister to the congregations emotional needs. Hello and welcome! We are Tenisha Hunter, LCSW and Jhana Rice, LPC and we represent Ascension Seton Behavioral Health. Join us Saturday from 8AM to 5PM on June 10th . We desire to partner with you and your church to help educate and support all able and willing individuals who desire to help with mental health issues and may not know where to start. Just as CPR may help an individual having a heart attack or some other medical emergency, Mental Health First Aid helps you assist someone experiencing a mental health or substance -use related crisis. You will learn things like: risk factors, warning signs and strategies for how to help someone in crisis and non-crisis situations. You will receive certification after completing this 8 -hour course. We hope that you will join us in helping reduce the stigma in our community.
