Local Fence company is seeking a working Yard Manager to join our team. We are seeking an individual who is organized, reliable and motivated, with strong background in hand tool and equipment maintenance. Summary: Main duties include organizing tools and equipment, maintaining yard and surrounding work areas clean and organized. Preparing equipment for field crews. Helping in yard loading and unloading. Delivering equipment as needed. Responsibilities: Clean and inspect/repair tools and equipment and maintain a clean work area. Load tools and equipment onto company vehicles. Ensure supplies are replenished and the Yard is organized and free of any debris. Organize tool room, keep inventory of tools. Operate equipment in the field (i.e., Bobcat, Skid Steer, Excavator) Able to utilize electronic diagnostic equipment. Maintain maintenance records for all equipment including service records, parts and repair costs, service schedules and inspections, prepares for interactions with CHP/DOT Inspectors for annual BIT inspections. *Perform other tasks assigned by management. Skills, Abilities and Requirements • Punctual and reliable. • Team player attitude, ability to take direction. • Strong mechanical and maintenance knowledge. • Follow safety rules and guidelines. • Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred • Must project a professional attitude towards fellow employees and customers. • Valid CA Driver License with a clean driving record. The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting, working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
