Brighten shady gardens with colorful choices that are available right now. Be with us for an introduction to a few plants that handle the shade and still yield great benefits to the landscape. NHG's Rusty E. Allen gives a good, beginning look at some Texas native perennials and shrubs that are the best choices to fill a shady corner. We'll also get a few soil prep recommendations as we go. 20 minute presentation, with time for your questions to get you started. Cool water available while we learn in the shade! Our series of FREE, POP Up classes offer you a quick, informal way to learn about gardening right in the middle of the plants and products we're telling you about. Whether you're starting a new garden, prepping an established one or just wanting to try a cool new plant, these short, informative classes can help. THIS CLASS IS OUTDOORS. In the case of severe weather, this class will be cancelled. Please note: Per updated CDC guidelines, masks are optional if you're fully vaccinated while you shop with us.
