Job Summary As a Press Operator you are setting up and operating state of the art presses to screen printing transfers. We prefer that you have experience screen printing and working with an automatic or semi-automatic press, M&R is preferred. We are using the latest technology to print. We have a strong training program and offer great support for success. Job Responsibilities: Be Highly Organized and Self-Motivated Work in Team Environment Screen Making & Reclaiming (all printers need to know how to do this) Set up, load, adjust, control and operate machinery Maintain production and quality by inspecting random production samples Start up and Shut-down printing presses by removing ink and paper; cleaning parts and components; returning paper and ink to stock Ensures press operation by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions Maintain clean & tidy work space Skills: Have clear and good vision to see print quality, colors and registration Able to work on your feet for long hours & lift 40 lbs. Comfortable in working with new technology/machinery Have an understanding of screen printing Have skill/touch related printing Has a willingness to learn Follows instructions well Detail oriented Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment / Deadline oriented Must be able to work under pressure Must be a team player Must be open to helping other departments & team members with tasks For more info email or call
