Join TCMU-Spartanburg for a free community event for families with rising Kindergarteners to get excited for the school year ahead! It's time to get ready for the upcoming school year, and TCMU is here to help! From community resources to learning how to use a lunch tray–Countdown to Kindergarten is a free community event geared towards making sure your little ones (and you!) are ready for the school year ahead. Countdown to Kindergarten will provide families with the opportunity to connect with community partners focused on student success and childhood development. This event is geared towards families with rising Kindergarteners (3K, 4K, and Kindergarten). This year's event will be held on Friday, August 6th, from 6PM-8PM–rain or shine! Magnolia Street in Downtown Spartanburg will be fully blocked off to allow for various community partners to set up in the street. Special thanks to our event sponsors, Spartanburg County First Steps, Spartanburg Water, AFL, and Purpose Financial. This event is free, but RSVP is encouraged. Please park in the Magnolia Street garage (entrances on Magnolia St. and N. Church St.) upon arrival.
