There are likely over 2,000 people living in their vehicles on San Francisco streets. What are their stories?Hear from three folks directly. Many San Franciscans are forced to live out of their vehicles. What is leading people to live out of their cars? How can we help those who are struggling to find housing? How do they feel about the policies in place to address those living in their vehicles? Also - what are some of the faces, the names, and the stories. We read about folks without traditional homes all the time but rarely do we all sit together to discuss where we are and how we got here. Michelle, Zach, and Michael all live in their vehicles on San Francisco streets and their bios are coming soon! The structure of this event will be about 45 minutes of conversation and discussion followed by small break out groups where YOU can meet some new folks and discuss what you just heard. We hope to help solicit a more collaborative discussion and hear the diverse stories in our city. Manny's never turns away anyone for lack of funds.
