Description
SALEM, MA — Salem Department of Public Services crews were working on a water main break in the area of Loring Hills Avenue to the Swampscott line early Tuesday afternoon.
Salem DPS said residents in the area may experience low water pressure, interruption of service or brown water until the leak is repaired.
Work was expected to continue through much of Tuesday afternoon.
UPDATE: Salem Chief of Staff Dominick Pangallo reported about 4 p.m. that water had been fully restored after the 12-inch main was fixed.
Residents with any questions are asked to contact 978-744-3302.
