Learn Native American Symbology & Legends while weaving your best wishes into a Traditional Dreamcatcher with Native Artist, Erika Tommie. Reserve your spot for this limited in-person opportunity at Studio 18 in the Pines. "I am a full blooded Dakota Sioux from the Santee Sioux Nation located in Northeastern Nebraska currently residing in Broward County. Art has always been a big part of me. When I create I am free. I am at peace with the Universe. My artistic passions in life are painting, photography and making dreamcatchers. This workshop is free and open to the public for those 18 and older, however spaces are extremely limited. Social distancing and masks will be encouraged to mitigate the inherent risk of covid-19 infection for all participants. Funding for this project is provided in part by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners as recommended by the Broward Cultural Council.
