Besito's Mexican Restaurant At Chestnut Hill Closes

CHESTNUT HILL, MA — A popular Mexican-inspired restaurant at The Shops at Chestnut Hill closed quietly this past week. "During these trying times it is with a heavy heart that we are sharing the unfortunate end to our time in our beloved Besito Chestnut Hill location," reads a post on the restaurant's website. "We are deeply saddened by this turn of events and will miss all of our amazing guests in Chestnut Hill," it continued. Besito, a high-end Mexican restaurant known for its service opened in 2014 to aplomb. Besito at the Chestnut Hill Mall was the fifth in the U.S., and the second in Massachusetts. But after the Burlington Mall outpost closed in 2018, it was the only Massachusetts location. Three locations remain open in New York as well as a restaurant Pennsylvania and one in Florida, according to the website. Patch has reached out to the restaurant for comment.
