A Eucharistic Congress is a gathering of clergy and community members to bear witness to the Real Presence of Our Lord in the Eucharist. The theme of this Eucharistic Congress is: That All May Be one. As the people of the Diocese of Memphis celebrate the 50th Anniversary of our Diocese, we pause to remember that we are all members of the One Body in Christ through our Baptism. We will celebrate Mass and provide opportunities for visiting the Blessed Sacrament in Adoration and receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Keynote speakers will include: Archbishop Joseph Kurtz, Dr. Scott Hahn and Noelle Garcia, to name a few. All are welcome to attend this free event. Donations will be accepted at the event. During our 50th Anniversary Year of celebration, we will host several events including Days of Service (hosted by Catholic Charities in multiple locations), Multi-Cultural Festivals at St. Louis Catholic Church (August 28th), at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Jackson, TN (September 11) and Holy Angels Catholic Church in Dyersburg (the evening of September 11), the Eucharistic Congress and Concerts. The Diocese of Memphis will host the First Eucharistic Congress ever held in this diocese and our theme is "That All May Be One." There will be anniversary concerts in November and the conclusion will be the Anniversary Celebration Mass on November 21st, 2021.
