Drivers needed for delivery, set ups and breakdown of kid’s party rent

Poppytots is a kid’s party rental service that provides soft play and jumpy set ups all over the Bay Area. We are looking for someone to help us expand our business and cater to more customers on the same day. We need someone who is friendly, punctual, self motivated, able to work independently, comfortable talking to clients, able to lift 60 lbs (occasionally up stairs) and organized. Typical day: Arrive at our warehouse in the Bel Marin Keys area of Novato. Load van with preselected items (ex. soft play, gates, jumpy) Review checklist to ensure all items are in the van Drive to the party location. Arrive at the location, check in with client and look at the setup area Unload the equipment, walk/cart items to the set-up area. Lay down tarps and assemble the equipment (details on the steps will be discussed after hiring) (Head to another party or free time. Generally 1-3 parties are booked a day) 3-5 hours later return to pick up the equipment from the client Return to the warehouse to unload equipment Hours: This is a gig based position and hours will be based upon bookings and need. Saturdays are a must as the bulk of our bookings happen that day. The hours vary but will usually be between 9 am and 7 pm. Musts: Valid driver’s license Clean driving record (we will need proof) 2-3 personal references Availability on Saturdays Be physically capable of handling the loading and unloading, setups and breakdowns $20/hour. Downtime in between parties will be paid at half rate. (Drive time is included in the regular rate and can be explained further) Occasional tips from generous clients are all yours!
