BEVERLY, MA — Beverly fire crews spent part of Tuesday afternoon battling an attic fire in the searing heat. Beverly fire said the main body of the fire was quickly knocked down by the Engine 6 crew. Engine 1, Engine 3 and Truck 3 ventilated the building, stretched backup lines and overhauled.
