Highway Signing, Inc., is in the process of hiring Flaggers for a summer project in Wayne County. This is an entry level opportunity with no experience necessary! We will train and certify the right individuals. The selected candidates will be involved in flagging for construction zones to include the break down and clean up of the traffic control work zone after flagging completion. Wages will range from $17.00-19.00 HR and will be dependent upon experience. Job Expectations: • Setting up the flagging work zone using the appropriate safety standards. • Monitor, observe and control traffic. • Breaking down and cleaning up the work zone upon completion of the operation. • Perform general labor duties when necessary. • Perform other duties as assigned. Work Requirements: The ideal candidate will: • Be at least age 18 years of age. • Pass pre-employment drug screen. • Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the public at all times. • Stand for long periods of time. • Be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary. • Report to work at the designated start time. • Be able to work overtime when required. • Be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold. • Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook. • Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co–workers or supervisors with other duties as required. • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas.
