Press release from the City of Irving: June 29, 2021 TxDOT will close eastbound main and express lanes of State Highway 183 from 10 p.m. July 1 to 5 a.m. July 2, from Maryland Drive to the Regal Ridge Parkway exit ramp for bridge work. This closure is weather permitting and subject to change. View detour map The work is part of the $301 million Irving Interchange project that will reconstruct the interchanges at SH 183, SH 114, Loop 12 and Spur 482. The project is anticipated to be completed in mid-2023.
