SANTA CRUZ, CA — As California saw restrictions on businesses loosen further Tuesday, the city of Santa Cruz announced its plans for fully reopening public-facing operations in the months to come.
Meetings for city council and other boards and commissions, which have been held virtually during the pandemic, will transition to hybrid in-person and online meetings in September. More details on those meetings will be forthcoming, the city said.
And though mask requirements were largely lifted for vaccinated Californians in many aspects of public life, staff and guests of city facilities must continue to wear masks in compliance with guidance from the state Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The city said it will continue to align with OSHA guidance going forward.
Wondering about hours for city facilities? Here's a list provided by the city.
