No experience is required with paid training starting at $21.20 / hour and company vehicle provided. We are conducting electric meter upgrades in the Denver, Colorado area for Xcel Energy and are hiring over one hundred Electric Meter Installers / Technicians. Applicants need to be at least 18 years of age, hold a valid driver’s license and able to pass background and drug screen. After the initial classroom training and field training totalling four weeks paid at $21.20 / hour, employees will be transitioned to being paid on a piece work basis which allows most of our employees to earn in excess of $25 / hour. A typical electrical install will take approximately 10 minutes and the piece work pay for installing 6 meters per hour will result in earnings in excess of $1,100 a week!
