Warehouse / Fork Lift Operator / Order Builder

We are a growing, family owned and operated, food manufacturer of retail and food service products that operates Monday through Thursday from 6:30am - 5pm. This position is responsible for running the warehouse, loading & unloading trucks, handling raw ingredients & finished goods, fulfilling orders, and interaction with customers. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 6:30am - 5pm. Paid weekly. Here are a few of the responsibilities:
 • Unload pallets of ingredients, packaging & other materials off delivery trucks, sort & store the pallets in the warehouse, record lot numbers, verify temperature, ensure goods are free from damage. 
• Supply the 2 production teams with pallets needed from the warehouse for production. • Receive finished pallets from the 2 production teams (restacking, cleaning & palletizing required) and store in the warehouse or freezers.
 • Check through the sales orders and build pallets of finished goods for shipment to the customers. The pallets of finished goods are loaded onto customers large trucks, small trucks, and passenger cars.

 At Silver State Foods, we batch cook and package sauces (spaghetti sauce, salsa, green chili sauce) and spaghetti noodles on a large scale, for sale at grocery stores and restaurants. Experience operating forklifts is helpful, but not required, and a desire to learn new skills. Everyone contributes to the team in this 74-year-old company that produces a variety of products.

 · Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly all day · Able to walk around the warehouse all day · Operate the walker-stacker and electric pallet jack
 · Read and follow directions
