Full time, permanent position available for indoor warehouse fulfillment of auto parts. Warehouse fulfillment maintains inventory on the floor for picking and packing and sending orders accurately and on time. This is a detail orientated position and accurately filling orders is paramount for this position. Forklift certificate and previous warehouse experience is not required to apply but is helpful. We have a small team and it is essential everyone works well with each other. Opportunity for advancement to warehouse manager in six months. Our culture is inclusive, and we host many guests from around the world. No nights or weekends, M-F 9-6. Requirements: · Pick and pack orders timely and accurately · Use tape gun and other packing tools · Maintains warehouse inventory integrity · Adheres to health, cleanliness, and safety standards · Ability to work independently · Attention to detail · Physically able to walk, lift, bend, use packing equipment · Basic computer literacy Materials handlers are required to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods of time, and to bend, stoop, and work in tiring and sometimes uncomfortable positions. They may lift and carry items that weigh up to 8 kilograms (40 pounds). The heavier items are moved with weight handling equipment or with assistance from other workers. Work is done inside or outside in areas that may be hot, damp, cold, drafty, or poorly lighted. Materials handlers are regularly exposed to the possibility of cuts, scrapers, bruises, abrasions, falls, and injury from falling stock or mechanized work areas. Workers are require wearing protective clothing such as close-toed shoes, gloves (optional), and masks when customers present (covid-19). Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.50 per hour COVID-19 considerations: Masks, cleaning supplies, gloves, and hand sanitizer are available.
