Description
CONCORD, NH — Concord firefighters, police, and the Tri-Town Ambulance, from Pembroke, offering mutual aid, were called to the South End on Tuesday for a crash.
Just after 2:30 p.m., dispatch received a report of a vehicle crashing into a home on Avon Street off Clinton Street. When police and firefighters arrived, they found a cargo van had backed into the side of a house. The driver was examined and a passenger was taken to Concord Hospital.
Firefighters stated there was no structural damage to the home but a plastic shed had been smashed during the accident.
About an hour later, firefighters and EMTs were sent back to the home for a report of a head injury. Engine 4, the same team at the previous call, as well as the Tri-Town Ambulance, were sent back to the home for the second call. According to scanner chatter, the driver was examined and taken to the hospital.
