MURRIETA, CA — Rescue crews worked to free at least one person from a wrecked vehicle following a three-car collision that sent debris flying all over Highway 79 in Murrieta on Sunday. The crash, which was reported just after 2 p.m., also significantly backed up traffic along the highway. The person who was extricated from a vehicle was majorly injured and was taken to a hospital by ambulance, according to reports from the scene.
