The Blue Ash Educational Building celebrated the school’s 56th year of providing exemplary Early Child Care Education to Tri State children. The highlight of the day was the "Annual Goodbuddy Balloon Launch". The school's campus was a wonderland of excitement and fun as staff and children sang and danced their way through a mirage of musical and magical activities. Preschool and School age children were active outdoor participants. The "Art Stations" enticed children to A Happy Birthday Goodbuddy Extravaganza. Painting entry banners proclaiming 56 years, and designing birthday hats at the Goodbuddy Hat Station, Face-Painting, Photo Stations, and team work in race counting 56 objects. Hula Hoop and dancing competitions were big attractions, as was the school-wide birthday pizza parties at lunch. Excitement built after each child, with a colorful balloon attached to a hand, sang We're All Good Buddies" as they marched to the Sports Field for the "56th Annual Balloon Launch". Following all of this wonderment, we all loved sitting down enjoying snow cones as we laughed and shared our tales of the balloon launch. Now we wait for the rest of the story. As part of our Geography map study, classroom maps of the Tri-State will be used to designate where the balloons were found. Attached to each child's balloon, is the return information card requesting the finder to please return the pre-stamped self-addressed card to the school. And of course "bragging rights" go not only to the class with the greatest number of returns, but also to the child whose balloon traveled the farthest.
