TRUSSVILLE, AL — Gandview Medical Center could expand into Trussville. The hospital is applying for a Certificate of Need for the approval to establish and operate a freestanding emergency department in Trussville, according to a Birmingham Business Journal report. The city council supports the establishment of the department and is urging the Certificate of Need board to approve the application, according to the BBJ. If Grandview is approved to move forward, the proposed project would be classified as new construction.
