Needing Advice from Animal Lovers

I have a wonderful senior kitty I adopted nearly two years ago and he is needing diagnostic testing. He's been losing weight, has less energy and I found a lump on his neck. He is my best friend, my constant companion and deserves better than what I am able to do for him. I am an older person on a fixed income and cannot afford the diagnostic testing by our regular veterinarian. I manage the cost of his routine care okay because I set aside a few dollars each month and he eats a good food, but diagnostic testing is not possible with my very low social security income. I need to know of any organizations in the area that might consider helping my kitty. I am very grateful to all of you animal lovers who take the time to answer this. Thank you.
