Description
Hello. I’m putting three kittens up for adoption. I help care for a feral colony and Im trying to adopt out the few remaining babies from spring litters. There are two small females. One brown striped and one white. They are about 8-9 weeks. There’s an older male about 6 months. He’s small for his age. The organization we usually work with to vet them is overwhelmed. So they’ve only been getting home care the past few days. In lieu of a rehoming fee, I’m asking that you make a vet appointment and purchase all the kitten would need. Food Litter box Litter Toys Bed/blanket Treats A vet appointment is extremely important to verify health and address any issues from being outdoors so long. (Ear mites/URI’s/ etc) They all have wonderful personalities showing now. Cheech- striped female is a butt buddy. She will find a human to snuggle and sleep with. She likes the chest and arms. Literally a baby hold is her favorite. She’s extremely playful and will need daily play stimulation. Litter box trained. Will fly from one end of house to other to use potty. Super smart. Winnie- white female is a little more shy but still very playful and likes to sleep in blankets near her human. She’ll do her own thing for the most part but love scratches and treats. So highly food motivated which will make her easy to train. She has not had any accidents since learning the litter box so long as she has easy access to it. Killua- 6 month old white male. He is one of the most gentle and docile “kittens” Ive come across. He’s a sleepy boy and has been resting the majority of the time we’ve had him. He does have a fierce playful side that takes a bit to come out. He will follow his human from room to room and watch and wait for a little love but he won’t push for it. He will find and lay on your lap for a nap. He’s a little more reluctant for the litter box. We added a second and he used it until another cat did. So he would need his own box. He’s the one I’m more concerned about for vetting. Ear mites are an issue for this colony and I don’t believe OTC stuff is working very well. Anyone one would be lucky to add him to a quiet family. Please know these are forever pets. They can live 12-19 years. We “rescue” them so they have a chance at a better life than falling prey to the environment or predators.
