Description
Do you love organization, problem-solving and cleaning? I have the perfect job for you! I’m looking for a “life hacker” to work 8 hours per week in our home. This job is part cleaner/part organizer/part problem-solver and everything in between.
On an average week, you might have the following tasks asked of you:
- Check the house for supplies running low (paper towels, toilet paper, detergent, etc) and restock them all
- Stay on top of my favorite brands running out (e.g. shampoo/conditioner that need to be ordered) and order them or give me a heads up
- Complete laundry cycles: putting clothes back where they go, helping out with laundry, etc
- Clean out the fridge/freezer and restock with favorite supplies
- Pre-chop all the ingredients for salad
- Run any boots/shoes that need re-heeling to the cobbler, negotiate a great rate, pick them up; bring them back
- Run any clothing items needing new zippers, etc to the tailor, pick them up & return them
- Take my car for an oil change
- Sort through it, get rid of junk and bring the rest back to my house
- Replenish fresh flowers throughout the house, notice when they are dying, throw them out; clean out the vases
Extra bonus points if you are: handy with small household repairs and a great painter!
As you can see, lots of the above tasks involve getting to know me over time and anticipating needs. We will get along great if you are: highly organized, self-driven, and an independent problem-solver who is not afraid to ask questions when needed. I love feeling looked after and excited to come home to everything in its place!
Pay is $15 - 20 per hour depending on productivity, experience, range of tasks you tackle well and your availability during the day when we are out of the house.
