Hello from June Farms! We are looking to hire a farmhand at our lovely June Farms to help with the development of our draft horse program. We have three Shire horse mares, ages 10,10 and 5, and a 7 year old pony. The 10 year olds drive as a team, and Joey, the youngest shire, often drives single. Your ability to drive horses OR ride horses very well, to the point that you can train others, is required. We are also looking for help with the riding of the horses. Any riding experience would be great. This position is hourly, and we can offer 40 hours per week, supplementing hours with general farm labor.
