Today I posted 4 posts, two people immediately contacted me saying that they would send a 6 digit number to assure that I was a valid poster. One did and I transmitted back the number to him, he claimed that it was invalid or not what he sent. Both said that my phone number did not accept them sending the number, and asked for another number which I gave both, both then claimed the second number did not work. When did Craigs List start with those numbers? I am not complaining, they are a good safety check, but what is the alternative if like today the phone system does not accept the number? I am on Verizon, I do not know if that makes a difference or not. I was curious as I would like to sell some items, the 4 that I posted I have deleted because of the hassle.
