Fires started by fireworks

We have had some incredibly hot, dry weather. It would seem that intelligent people would not want to be shooting off fireworks in these types of conditions. But, we see fireworks stands going up, and to make a buck, or potentially some big bucks, these people are going to hawk their wares, the fire hazard and virtually the whole community be damned. Possibly there needs to be class action lawsuits put against the fireworks dealers for any fire that gets started because of fireworks in this hot, dry season. The fire departments should also be able to recover their firefighting costs from fireworks dealers for any fireworks-related fires which they have to fight. It appears that there is shear negligence and a total disregard of public safety, to even allow the sale of, or be selling fireworks when very hazardous conditions now exist. And, I would think that government officials should truly have public safety enough at heart, seeing the current conditions, that they would not be issuing permits to fireworks dealers.
