Caring family looking for a right-hand partner to help manage household and care for their joyful, 14-week old infant. Family is seeking someone who walks into the house every day with a great attitude and loving, happy disposition. One where the baby is ecstatic to see because of her positive energy. Two-year commitment ideal Must be an experienced, mature candidate who knows how to run a home, be of help to a family and anticipate needs. Both parents work full-time, demanding jobs, and are looking for someone who will care for their child like their own and handle housework duties so they are able to come home and enjoy time with their baby. MUST BE PRESENT - We are not looking for someone who will be on their cell phone, laptop, or watching tv. If you cannot step away from your technology, this is NOT the role for you. Schedule and Pay: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 6 pm, $20-$22 per W2 + additional benefits such as PTO and paid holidays **Note this role does have 5-7 hours of OT a week!!!** Your key attributes: Calm and gentle - does not overstimulate Joyful personality - always in a good mood Can-do attitude - does not get flustered Great and direct communicator - maintains daily log on how the day went and pertinent details of child’s development Loves being a nanny - and doesn’t view this as a job, but more an opportunity to help mold a child and make a positive impact on their development and the family as a whole Safe, loving, and nurturing Reliable and Punctual Multi-tasks with ease Flexible - must be somewhat flexible with hours Proactive - anticipates needs of family before being asked Primary responsibilities - first and foremost, creating an attentive and loving environment for the child Create a stimulating environment filled with play that is both educational and fun Maintain a routine schedule for baby Daily walks Reading, singing, and sensory play Reading books Makes suggestions on toys and activities Secondary responsibilities - household management Laundry Changing Sheets Meal prep and cooking healthy meals for whole family Cleaning home Dishes Garbage Organizing Watering plants Light Errands such as grocery shopping Being bi-lingual is a major plus Must Haves: CPR & First Aid Clean driving record, no DUI or DWI Non-Smoker 7+ years of nanny experience 3+ years of experience working with infants Safe car for running errands Be able to provide 3 - 5 supervisory references Healthy and active - able to take multiple walks per day and hold and carry child Child development background ages and stages a plus
