2021 San Diego Music Awards nominee for "Best Jazz Album" Ghost Jazz Trio is seeking a bass artist for upcoming shows, festivals and concerts. The GJT has more bookings than it can handle and we need another bassist to keep up with the bookings. The Ghost Jazz Trio is a San Diego CA based instrumental jazz band. All music is composed by guitarist James Morgan. James Morgan's first Ghost Jazz Trio album "Invisible Time" with Aaron Seener on bass and Jack Nathan on drums was released in 2020. The album was nominated for Best Jazz Album" by the 2021 San Diego Music Awards, and made it to the top 100 of the smoothjazz.com global radio charts and is on jazz radio playlists in 200 countries. James Morgan is recording his second album "On the Level" due to release the summer of 2021 with Nathan Brown on bass and Jack Nathan on drums. Once you are dialed in and know the songs, you can start being booked for shows. The current bassist performs with other marquee named bands as most bass players do, and you will do shows he is not available to do. The GJT is signed with a couple talent agencies that finds work for the trio and the trio books shows as well, so there are many bookings already.
