We are seeking a Field Inspector for a role at a Los Angeles Based Property Management Company who manages approximately 2500 units of conventional and affordable multifamily housing throughout California. Qualifications: - 3+ of years in construction and general apartment maintenance experience - 3 of years Section 8 property management experience -3 - Must possess a valid California Driver’s License - Must have a reliable and registered vehicle with vehicle insurance (truck preferred) - Knowledge of HUD REAC,LAHD, and other agency protocols - Must be able to work overtime during the week and on weekends - Must work well with others (on-site property managers, vendors, etc.) - English/Spanish bilingual preferred - Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Etc.) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills Essential Functions and Responsibilities: - Conduct property inspections - Conduct unit inspections - Create/follow up on Work Orders - Complete resident move-out reports/charges/logs - Issue worker material/document inventory - Receive/process completed work orders - Inspect/coordinate completion of vacant units - Supervise 3rd party vendors/contractors - Additional duties as assigned verbally or in writing Supervisory Responsibilities: - This position doesn’t have supervisory responsibilities.
