Looking to learn Slide guitar

Any Slide Guitar players willing to provide tips, quick start lessons? I can play a mean lead but I never learned to play slide (other than using a beer bottle). I'd like to really learn now. Recently retired and nostalgically listening to some slide songs, I think now is the time to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. You won't be wasting your time. I can play. I made a decision a long time ago to make a real living instead of chasing my dream. Now I want to live my dream. No ego here. Just a desire to learn and contribute to the music scene long overdue.
