Her elderly lady companion abandoned her in death and left her all alone. She was very depressed and had given up on life. She's NEVER been outside, will NOT go outside. She's "a house cat"! So, I got her from the pound some 3 weeks ago and now she's healthy, active, very sweet and loves to lay in your lap to be petted. She was afraid of my 3 outside cats who come in to eat and say hi, but now they are comfortable together. She is confined to my bedroom only because my house sharing partner has 3 big, young undisciplined dogs, 2 of which would eat her. She needs more room and exercise. She needs more human company than just busy me. And at least a house to re-explore every day like cats do. She's spayed, had shots and and a chip. She won't be running around getting run over crossing streets and all the other terrible things that befall kittens and young ones. Uses litter box very dependably.
