As a Maintenance Supervisor at GIT, you will be responsible for the maintenance operations for one of our multifamily assets. You will be held accountable for maintaining our beautiful community, providing top-notch customer service to our residents, leading and motivating maintenance team members, and scheduling all vacancies for refurbishing and occupancy. The Maintenance Supervisor role is for a dedicated, quality-focused person passionate about property appearance and performance at its highest level. Learn more about Gaines Investment Trust and our multifamily properties by visiting our website at Responsibilities, including but not limited to: Responsible for all phases of the maintenance operations of the property Responsible for all work performed by all maintenance team members Interview, train, supervise and motivate all maintenance personnel Performs and ensures all maintenance requests are made timely Scheduling vacant units for refurbishing and occupancy Provide a clean, safe, and well-maintained community for our Residents Respond to on-call emergencies Supervise outside contractors Provides top-notch customer service to residents Qualifications and Requirements: Must live close to Las Vegas, Nevada with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation 3+ years of prior experience in a related supervisory maintenance role HVAC and CPO certified Expert with plumbing, electrical, troubleshooting appliances, pool, heating/air, basic carpentry, and painting. Boiler experience is a plus! Works effectively in a very fast-paced environment and meets company goals and deadlines Time management and multitasking skills Practical communication skills with residents, onsite staff, and management English fluency Occasional resident events or emergencies will necessitate working outside of regular business hours. There may be times when called upon based on rare necessities.
