10-year-old Cheweeny (1/2 Dachshund and 1/2 Chiwawa) good for 5-8 years more. With the daughter grown up and gone to college, our dog does not get enough exercise and attention. Loves going camping. Looking to re-home to an individual wanting a constant companion. Best as an only dog as he gets anxiety living with other dogs and can have accidents. Okay around most children but prefers not being teased. Does not fetch but enjoys keep-away. Enjoys short walks. Feels loved when petted all the time and loves dinner food scraps for dessert. Is a good watchdog and barks briefly, mostly quiet. Sleeps a lot and comfortable in a kennel. Is used to kennel and doggy door to the outside to be used as needed but will bark to ask to go out or in when needed. Re-home adoption with supplies fee negotiable.
