Guitarist/vocalist (Manny), Lead guitarist (Alex) and Drummer (Bert) are looking to fill the void of our recently moved bassist/synth player. We are currently looking for a skilled Keyboardist for a metal / hard rock project. (Opening for bassist has been filled) Elevator pitch of what we sound like... think in the vein of A Perfect Circle and Karnivool vocally and BTBAM and The Human Abstract musically. In the broadest strokes We’ve been a four piece for a long time but we’ve opted to add on a full time key player to really fill out the soundscape we’re envisioning. We have some parts already written but this is fairly new territory for us. Also, in addition to keys, if you have confidence in your vocal abilities, ideally we'd like to add someone who can contribute on vocals in a big way. We have lots vocal harmony mostly written for a female voice so the door is wide open if you're a badass frontwoman who doesn't mind doing a Fleetwood Mac co-lead singer type thing. I guess Pure Reason Revolution is a better example closer to our genre. This band is meant to be a collaborative effort between us… well five now, so ideally we’d like our keyboardist to have as much input in the song writing as any of us (think more Mastodon than Mars Volta). If possible we’d prefer to add members who are not currently in other bands but not an absolute deal breaker for the right fit. We’re looking for people who have their head on straight, have pro gear, can make it to practice on time and can contribute to this band. Finding the right band members is obviously a difficult task but we want it to be known that the door is open to everyone, male, female, nonbinary, all races, all creeds etc. It’s about finding the right fit as people. A little about us, we’re 3 guys (31,32,33 and the new bassist) who have played a lot of music over the years and strive to continue making great music. We’ve been on an extended hiatus through this pandemic but we’re hoping to, Avengers Assemble a full band again and finally record the EP we’ve been sitting on. Its 4 songs 25 minutes long and we're recording at the machine shop, check out their YouTube if you'd like. From there the hope is the five of us will begin writing new material and start playing shows as this new solidified iteration of the group. With that said I want to be upfront and say we do this project in our spare time. We're not looking to "make it big" or tour the country, we simply want to make records and play shows and if we gain traction from that then awesome.
